sausage and sauce all cooked and ready to go when we pick it up.
They will cook the sausage for free, but the charge to mix and cook
sauce is $35.00 additional. Council all agreed ok.
Asked that
council members arrive approx. 2:00 PM to help set up with the Lions
club. We do not want to leave it all to the Lions. All agreed.
There will be two different types of salad dressing available that
night, Italian and Ranch.
Paula said that the Lions club will take
$1.00 for food with Kevin having the discretion on whom would eat for
free.
Asked TJ to help take money and tickets along with Lions. Paula felt it
best that TJ be involved with the money that takes
place that night,
including the raffle money. She will bring the
Miss Kearns cash box to use. TJ will stand by money, collect,
and
when finished ask one of our COP officers to lock up box in their
sheriff car till TJ came for it. Council agreed.
TJ stated that he
would get a check signed for $100.00 in change, if needed.
Paula
reviewed receipts for reimbursement to her with council and submitted
them to TJ.
Sam submitted invoice from Colosimo’s to TJ to pay. Paula gave TJ
donation of $100.00 from Miss Kearns Royalty tagged to
help towards food. Confirmed with TJ did also receive $250.00
donation from Sen. Ed Mayne.
Kevin stated that Deseret Pasta Plant
will donate spaghetti and Chuck stated he would check again with
Renae at Zions bank for their donation.
They had previously stated
will donate $100.00 for general expenses related to event. The bank
had donated in previous years for shirts.
Debby stated she would
like to have council shirts for the event.
Paula stated she would
check with Tee’s & Lee’s to see if they could do on short
notice. If not Debby will check with her son for same.
Chuck stated
it would be nice if we could have a large KCC banner to display that
night as well.
Paula will check with Fast Signs and since they were
already doing so much for her they will do a KCC large banner for
approx. $40.00-$45.00.
***Motion by Paula to go
forward with
getting banner. 2nd by AL.
Discussion was that members
wanted a light blue background with our regular green and black logo.
Kevin called for the vote. 8 yes, 0 no, 0 abstain. Motion passed.
Paula stated there should be a sponsor list as well. TJ said he
would take on that responsibility and suggested we use the sponsor’s
logos.
Chuck will take the responsibility of the raffle.
Parade---Paula
brought banners to show council of the KCC banners for their entry in
the parade.
Chuck and Kathy stated that Charles was able to secure a
Dodge Ram Power Truck for us.

Glen Kawa, and Staff Sgt. Alan Rogers. Grand Marshall is Vernon &
Ella Brundage.
Paula suggested that Hometown Heroes and Grand
Marshall be invited and recognized at Hometown Night. Council
agreed.
Al stated he would invite Brundage’s to that event and
make sure they get to the parade.
Paula brought banners to advertise
parade and Kevin said he will take them and get them put up.
Fire, Water, & Ice

putting
this together and coordinating it among the council members.
Paula
stated she has some decorations for it. Discussion took place on
what we should have available in booth.
Paula will bring approx. 500
leis to give out. Chuck suggested we have member’s names, business
cards, newsletters, bulletin board, etc…
He will put together. Debby suggested that we have a box for comments
from the public. She
will get that together.
Business Cards---Debby
suggested we should try and have council member’s business cards
for these events.
She wanted to know again what we wanted on them.
Paula suggested in lieu of time she would take to her printer and see
how fast he could do them because he already has logo on file
and
some of the other info. Council agreed.
