Call To Order---Chuck McDowell, Chairman
Roll Call Of Members---Eight council members in attendance, one excused, as listed above.
Minutes---Executive and public minutes were approved as written and corrected for 5/1/2007 and for the workshop on 5/8/2007.
Unfinished Business---Sheriff Proposal---Kevin reported that he will invite Sheriff Winder to come out and explain as soon as this is finalized. Special Projects---Chuck reported on what took place at workshop. Gave recap for funds for webmaster and website. Stressed again that webmaster is not a council employee, but will work similar to a sub-contractor. Chuck stated the need to spend the $1500.00 on website update. This has all been sent to the county for approval. Jill Young stated she would be spending approx. 8 hours per month on regular maintenance of the website once it is updated. Float---Chuck stated that Connie Hall was recommended by Dan Greenland of the senior center to head up the float. Connie was in attendance. Chuck stated entry fee for Days of 47 parade was $175.00. Connie stated she thought could have float done for that parade in time. Chuck asked if there was a motion to enter Days of 47 parade. No motion given. Paula suggested that Chuck find out if we can get a float base, where to store it, and location of where to build, and if he could find this information by Friday. Chuck agreed. Motion was then tabled to public meeting. Connie said she “had an in” with Days of 47 so could hand in entry form late. Chuck said through ZAP he also knew some of the committee because they come to ZAP for funding.
