Call To Order---Chuck McDowell, Chairman
Roll Call Of Members---Seven council members in attendance, two open council seats.
Minutes---Executive and public minutes were approved as written and corrected for 7/17/2007.
Workshop---August 27, 2007 was set for the next council workshop.
Unfinished Business---Sound System---Tabled to workshop. Senior Center Computer Project---Chuck reported that he received an email from Stacey Adams and Ryan Perry that this project has been approved. Seven laptops will be coming from senior center. Total to senior center will be $4000.00. Flag and Rigging---Tabled to workshop. Tree Project---Tabled to workshop. Items For Treasurer---Q2 Postings---Tabled to workshop. Reimbursements---Reimbursements were turned in for the float and hometown night projects. Modern Display Account---Tabled to workshop. County Budget Due 9-4-07---Tabled to workshop. Webmaster contract---Tabled to workshop.
New Business---Council Person Resignation---Paula read the resignation letter from Samantha Anderson effective immediately for her at large council seat. Open Council Seats---Chuck announced that we have an open council seat for the Western Hills Area and for an At Large Area. Stated requirements for each of these. Chip Van---Chuck passed the information on this health issue to Al for his Health & Welfare standing committee. Stated it be posted on the KCC website as well. Paula stated this program is up for legislative funding again this year. Newsletter---Tabled to workshop.
Announcements---Chuck announced new meeting schedule of the KCC. The first Tuesday of each month will be the public meeting from 6:30 PM---8:00 PM and the third Tuesday of each month will be the executive meeting from 6:30 PM—8:00 PM. Public is still welcome to attend executive meeting, although input from public will be at chair discretion. Other announcements as on agenda.
