Sheriff Report---Deputy Bennett reported they are having a neighborhood watch meeting on 3-22-07 at 7:00 PM at the Kearns Sheriff Office. Deputy Miranda reported on the programs the sheriff office has implemented.

County Report---Stacee Adams reported that the council will receive approx. $32,000.00 in special funding. Reported on the UTA changes that will be made on the West Side and stated there could be a dog park on the master plan. Karen Wickstrom who is from an economic and planning firm in Salt Lake reported on how her firm is working with the mayor’s office on the HB40 situation. They should be finalizing their report this next week and give to the mayor.

Committee Reports---Planning & Zoning---Kevin reported that a conditional use permit has been applied for by the Pentecostal Church of God located at 6180 South 4590 West, Kearns. File# 23445. Juan Lopez request for building a church. Treasurer’s Report---Charles report for TJ that the special funding received was $32, 500.00 and the administrative funding is $2858.00 for a balance of $43,000.00. Public Safety---Cathy Harding gave report on Operation End Graf that the KCPA is putting together and working on. Invited the council to join in. Sam stated the KCPA needs supplies for this project and suggested that the council put forth some funding for such. Cathy also thanked Debby Conner for her 19 months as chair of the Public Safety committee. Cathy also recognized Paula Larsen and Moroni Rouska for the Miss Kearns Pageant this year. Debby Conner, past Public Safety Chair, gave her ending report as per bylaws. (Copy Attached)
