Citizen Input---Joyce Rasmussen, 5059 South 4460 West, Kearns suggested that a “donation jar” be placed somewhere to help Paula out with the costs of flag replacements and that an article appear in the Kearns Post or Journal about Paula taking on the flag responsibilities. Also concerned about the road in front of the library. Parking on it does not allow for traffic to drive down it appropriately. Next concern was single family dwellings becoming multi family dwellings and that Kearns is beginning to look like a dump. Chuck suggested that she work with Al in North district since that is the district she lives in and Kevin for planning and zoning. Vickie Allison, 5706 South 4540 West, Kearns stated she would like to thank the council for allowing her to come and air her grievances. Because of that she felt some action was taken on her road repair issue. Mary Villaneavu. 5521 Silvertip Drive, Kearns brought up her concerns over the school district issue and said she knew of some bands that maybe would perform for Hometown Night. Carl Rasmussen, 5059 South 4660 West, Kearns read his poem he had written about an empty flagpole and thanked Paula for taking on this responsibility. Pam Todd, Salem Ave, Kearns reported as the Kearns Historian and stated she has been on several speaking engagements and will be having breakfast with Tony Bennett in the next few weeks. Stated she has been in contact with him. He was stationed at Camp Kearns.
