Minutes---In executive meeting the executive and public minutes were approved as written for 6/19/07 and 7/3/2007.

Consent Calendar---Chuck stated all actions done in executive meeting were accepted.

Sheriff Report---Deputy Miranda said that Lt. Anjewierden would be going to Internal Affairs to work in that division. The new Captain for Kearns area will be Cpt. Robert Sampson. Updated public on Clean Streets program. Sheriff Jim Winder talked about police services in the un-incorporated areas.

Code Enforcement---Nancy White, SL County Graffiti thanked the council and the KCPA for their graffiti clean up program that they did in April.

ACCT---Kathy reported that the committee on HB40 gave update on interlocal agreement and feasibility issue. Discussion took place on school district split.

Westside Representative---Greg Schulz reported that Salt Lake County had discussion on the school district split. They will be having public input on 8-31-2007 at 4:00 PM in county council chambers.

Committee Reports---Planning & Zoning---Tabled Public Safety---Tabled Community Involvement---Tabled Economic Development---Charles reported on the 6-28-07 meeting regarding the Urban Renewal issue. This meeting was public and with various business owners of the warehouse area. Charles stated that the county told him they still own some property in this area. An additional study will be done.

Unfinished Business---Andrea Boone, Red Cross---Reported she is the representative for the Kearns area. Suggested people have preparations for 6 days in case of disaster before EMS can arrive. Her phone number is 323-7000.

New Business---None

Citizen Input---Harvey Gold, Kearns Utah, Wanted clarification on council meeting times change. Larry Dugger, 4360 West 5570 South, Kearns Utah, Questions on getting speed bumps, messy houses, and weeds. Chuck stated he will follow up on speed bumps for him and for the other issues directed him to code enforcement with the county.
